Jitesh Dhamaniya has been building software for businesses since 2010, most of it for international clients found on bidding portals and forums in the early years: he wrote the code and handled the clients himself. JD Softvera, registered in 2016, is the studio that practice became.
The work since then has been projects, well over a hundred of them: websites and WooCommerce shops, customer portals, operations systems, mobile apps, integrations, and automation, for business owners and for agencies who sell the work and need someone to build it. Every industry, because underneath the work is the same: understand how the business runs, build the thing properly, keep it running.
Some of those clients are still here. A UK haulier has run its operation on software we built since 2017. A US direct-mail company kept Jitesh as its tech lead for three years. Some projects we not only built but still run: seven live products — a freight operations system, an AI-assisted CRM, a WhatsApp messaging API, and more — hosted, supported, and extended by us day to day. Running software for years is a different discipline from launching it, and it shapes how we build everything else.
Today AI tools let a small, experienced team do what used to need a large one. Most of our work now is helping businesses put that to practical use: automating the repetitive parts of their day on the software they already have, and building custom systems when nothing off the shelf fits.
What we believe
Software should earn its keep. It should remove work, not add dashboards. And the people who build it should still answer the phone six months later.
