The challenge

In haulage, the first company to reply with a clear quote usually wins the job. But enquiries, quotes, bookings, and shipment updates were spread across email, spreadsheets, and phone calls.

Answering a new enquiry meant pulling information together from several places, so replies could take hours — and good leads went cold in the meantime.

What we built

A custom ERP, designed around how the team actually works, that follows every job through its whole life cycle:

  1. Lead capture — every enquiry lands in one pipeline, so nothing is missed.
  2. Quoting — the information needed to price a job is in one place, so the team can quote fast.
  3. Booking — accepted quotes become jobs without retyping anything.
  4. Shipment tracking — each job moves from collection to delivery with its status visible to the whole team.
  5. Completion — the job is closed out once the shipment is delivered, with its full history kept.
The result

With every lead and job in one system, the team replies to new enquiries in around ten minutes instead of several hours, and everyone can see where each shipment stands without chasing updates.

The business has grown since version 1 went live, and they came back to us to build version 2.0 — working with us remotely throughout.
